Now MP for Plymouth, Moor View, Johnny Mercer became involved in politics as he had something to offer the political establishment. As a military veteran he knew that we needed to provide veterans with better care, that we could do more in terms of provision for mental health care.
He was re-elected in 2017 after only 2 years in post with an almost 5-fold increase in his majority. He is a member of the Defence Committee and of the Health and Social Care Committee in Parliament.
This event is open to all: members and non-members (although non-members must attend as a guest of a member).
