Back by popular demand, Tapnell Farm will once again host the Isle of Wight Conservative Association clay pigeon shoot. Commencing at 13:30 on the 12th September ’26, beginners and experienced guns will be escorted around the 'Top Targets shooting ground, which incorporates a mixture of simple and more challenging targets. There will be two groups, the first of which will consist of experienced shooters and the second group comprising of those new to the sport. Gun hire, protective equipment, coaching, cartridges and targets are all included in the cost, with the event expected to last between 2-3 hours, depending on demand and group sizes.
The team at Tapnell farm are all experienced coaches, including one who currently shoots for the England team, so it's a wonderful opportunity to receive some world class coaching in a beautiful setting. The price for all shooters is £100 per person, which includes the following:
