There are 33 town, community and parish councils across the Island.
Many IW Councillors, including the Conservative members, also serve on these local bodies - ensuring a vital link between the two levels of local government on the Isle of Wight.
Whilst the Island Conservatives do not stand party political candidates for town, community and parish council elections, party members often make clear that they are Conservative supporters and work constructively with the Conservative Team at County Hall, for the good of the Island.
Vacancies come up on town, community and parish councils from time to time, and the next regular elections are in May 2025 (at the same time as the IW Council elections). If you are interested in standing for election to your local town, community or parish council, please contact us for advice.
A full list of town, community and parish councils can be found on the Isle of Wight Council's website.
